2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, communicate with you, or comply with legal obligations. We do not use analytics or marketing tools. Legal bases include in particular:

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests)

3. Access Data and Server Log Files

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server, which is stored temporarily in log files. This may include:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested page/file
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type, operating system, and version
  • Status codes and data volume transferred

Processing is carried out to ensure stability, security, and error analysis of the website. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Log files are rotated weekly and retained for 4 weeks. After that, they are deleted or overwritten.

4. Hosting

Our website is hosted on an on-premises company server in Germany. No external hosting provider is used. Access to server data is restricted to authorized personnel.

5. Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, contact details, message) to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries).

6. Contact Form

When you use our contact form, the data you enter (e.g., name, email address, phone number, message) is processed to handle your inquiry and sent to us by email. Required fields are necessary to process your request. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries).

Messages are sent via our email provider Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. No further disclosure to third parties takes place. We delete the data when it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

To protect against misuse, we use technical safeguards (e.g., rate limiting and plausibility checks).

7. Fonts (Local Hosting)

We host fonts locally on our server. No requests to third-party providers are made and no personal data is transmitted to third parties for font delivery.

8. Maps (OpenStreetMap)

We embed a map from OpenStreetMap on the contact page. The map is loaded only after you consent to external content. When the map loads, data (e.g., IP address) is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. 9. External Links (Google Maps)

10. Cookie Notice and Consent Management

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. We do not actively set technically necessary cookies. Our consent management stores your selection locally in the browser (localStorage, key: ppv_consent_v1) so we can document and honor your choice. No data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (proof of consent).

External content (e.g., OpenStreetMap) is loaded only after your consent. You can change your selection at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer or by clearing browser storage.

Our website uses TLS encryption to protect data transmission.
